Hello, Here are my answers to the intro questions.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No, I've had chickens off and on my entire life, depending upon where we were living, etc.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 50+
(3) What breeds do you have? too many to tell
; I don't have RI Red, New Hampshire Red, or Leghorns.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? besides farm fresh eggs, just hearing them cluck around the farm.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? we farm full-time, so when I have time I sew and read. My moniker is because I also edit for publishing houses.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My husband is retired AF; we also have ducks, new to us. Thus the reason I joined--for help. Farm dogs. Used to have a whole menagerie, but kids are grown so we are down to chickens, ducks, and dogs.
