We have two chickens (Buff Orpington and Black Australorp) that are about 3 years old and four chickens that hatched near the 1st of July: Amber Link, Black link, Dominique and a Silver-Lace Wyandotte. We live in southern MI and also have two dogs (Vizslas). We have ~30 acres and next spring I hope to add goats. We enjoy watching the chickens and have started training the younger chickens to peck a target using positive reinforcement. So far they like ham better than meal worms.
I used to do some dressage riding and trail driving. Perhaps we will add horses at some point.
