howdy,

my appellation is G. My partner and I have a flock of a bakers dozen plus a couple. We had thirty birdies, butchered ten chickens, and have five chickens & ten ducks. Hoping to expand the flock with some muscovy and different variety of chickens this coming spring.

Our ducks are sweeties... don't know if we'll (my partner) will be open to butchering ducks ever, but we love their antics and the eggs they lay. They were the first critters we got. Such funny ones..

Welcome to BYC, G!
Those are some beautiful ducky pics :love
I'm curious ~ if I may ask ~what's inside the tub with a chicken standing on top ~in the last pic?
Thank you kindly. They all are so beautiful. Having ducks in our care has deepened my appreciation for all ducks/herons/birds we see in day to day life... Such a wild phenomena.

Those are culled chickens, plucked and ready to be eviscerated. they were in cold water, and that last chicken was brought in to cull. In the last phot
