Hello, wanted to introduce myself and my girls ... My name is Shari, our home is Slidell, la. I have five hens, Oreo the Austrolorp, which is 1.5 yrs old, and the new "Friends", Monica, Rachel, Feebie, and yes.... Little Chandler.. Lol.. Our new babies are now 4 month old Golden Sex links. Purchased this funny little group when our Light Brahma Gypsy passed in May, and Oreo and Gypsy were our Thelma and Louise.... Lol, and Oreo missed Gyps terribly. So income the "Friends"... But all are getting along now.... Rough few weeks... Now the babies are as big as Oreo...... Enjoy looking at my babies... Chandler is the one pearched on the water feeder and turned backwards on the coop... One funny one in every bunch .And Oreo the Ostrich... Burying her head in the sand.... Lol funniest picture Ive ever seen...lol. Enjoy ..

Aww, your birds are adorable! Love your Aussie "Oreo". :love Australorps are my all time favorite breed! They are super friendly, make wonderful lap warmers, great layers, very hardy birds. I will always have a Aussie in my flock.
