Hi,
I grew up with chickens and got my own flock as soon as we moved to our small farm. I have thirty chickens of various breeds, and a family of turkeys, two dogs - one a guardian Mare Emma, two cats, a hive of bees, and have been known to take in various baby birds or squirrels/rabbits to raise them until they can take care of themselves.
I found out about your organization on Pinterest of all places looking up bumblefoot.
I am an illustrator/graphic artist/printer outsourced from our local newspaper so finally have time to work with my chickens and bees and draw and paint book covers and whatever I want now.
My husband and I have four grandkids that love to help collect eggs and pet my chickens and I love my farm and all the work that goes with it.
