Always a good idea to do some research before jumping into raising live animals. The Learning Center is an excellent place to start, lots of helpful articles there covering a wide range of topics:

Well I wish you good luck! I started out with nine chicks and a few years later there's 40-50 chickens at my house! I have found poultry to be interesting and addicting! It is so much fun! But as stated always do your research.
