(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Our first couple of chickens are about 14 weeks old. We have a rooster, possibly a Rhode Island Red, and a hen that looks to be a Blue Bell. There was a third that was killed by a predator overnight. They were in a large dog kennel at the time and the bars must have been too far apart, as the chicken's head was missing. A proper coop has since been built using 1/2" hardware cloth. I'll post a new thread with build pictures when I get the chance.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have twelve now, just picked up ten pullets this weekend.
(3) What breeds do you have?
The chicks are another RIR, a Leghorn, two Asians, three Golden Comets, and three Dominiques.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, theology, foosball, music, video games.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Wife is a homemaker and does gigs as a princess for kids' parties. Our kids are ten, eight, and five. We moved to Nebraska for work (I work in the energy industry) after retiring from the Navy. First time having a little land (3+ acres) outside city limits and decided to get some chickens. The first three came from my son's school teacher, and were maybe three weeks old when we got them.
