First got chickens about 7 months ago.

7 hens, 1 rooster

All Orpington, 1 buff mix, 1 splash hen, 1 splash rooster, 2 blues, 3 blacks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Loved converting a pop-up camper into a chicken coop. Really like ggseeing them run out to greet me and feed them treats.
(5) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have a very good friend who introduced me to this site and helped me with the coop. We wanted to share the results.

BYC is a helpful site providing all the information you need to know about poultry! There is always space for more members on the BYC roost!
A really nice coop you modified! Definitely could fit more than a flock of 8. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
