INTRO
Hello everyone from this website BackYard Chickens, how are you all? so this is my introduction post to the site.
From Australia, just recently discovered how awesome chickens and roosters are and decided to make an account on here to learn more ect..
What stuff am I interested in mostly in regards to chooks and that? Iv read a bit about the different breeds and what there good at, laying eggs, meat ect..
breeding, a friend of mine has his flock and has little yellow babies running around following its mumma atm, thats nice.
I was also very interested in self sufficient kinda life styles, off grid ect.. and this is where I came across the idea of chickens, naturally.
Also liked the idea of breeding pure breed birds you know, the breed folks want ect.. the flock we've got now though is mixed and thats good too though.
