I've been raising yard birds off and on since the eighties.

Three chicks.

naked neck and creole
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
eggs and the sound of happy birds in the grass
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
growing green things, eating good things, and sitting in the shade

I'm in the Andes right now and don't know whether I'm ever going back. My family is back in the US, my cats don't like each other, and I'm retired.
