If we lived more in a rural setting, I wouldn’t be so worried because I agree! But unfortunately, I can’t have Roos where we live which is a bummer because I think they’re so pretty and these three potential boys are well mannered.Welcome to the chicken hut. Yeah Roosters happen even if you bought female chicks only. I have two speckled Sussex, at least one ISA Brown (I think they are that breed) and one buff Orpington roosters that where to all FFC (future female chickens). Roosters make great warning alarms and lawn art.
