Hi - I'm Kit from upstate SC - new to chickens - plan to order chicks in early spring, so I'm in the process of doing lots of research - already have 3 dogs, 7 cats, 4 horses - 2 grandsons (!) I am interested in egg production on a personal / supply my friends basis at this point. Have selected an assortment of breeds based on egg production and personality first, colors second. All my critters have to be pets!! Looking forward to talking "chicken" with everyone!!
