Just got our 6 chicks three days ago. 3 rode island reds and 3 others. Got them mostly to help with the tick problem we have been dealing for years. We have two dogs, Poco ( pom mix ) and George (japanese chin ). A ferret named Lilu, and a pair of gerbils, and two girls 11 and 18 years old.
They are going to be housed in my studio garden but like the tractor idea. We will start the build for the hen house when the weather breaks.
