Hello!! New member here!
Never sure how to start these things so I'm just going to dive into the suggested questions!!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Had a small backyard flock with my family when I was growing up in the city. Now have my own little smallholding with many cheeky chickens!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently the proud keeper of 58 chickens!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orpingtons, Jersey Giants, Cream Legbars, Light Sussex, Pekin Bantams, White Leghorns and a Silkie Bantam
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Chicken cuddles every day! Also the happy coo you get when you have some treats for them!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Growing Oyster Mushrooms are a lot of fun! Also a massive bookworm
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a smallholding with my friend. Between us we have 58 Chickens, 2 Geese, 4 Cats, 3 Dogs, 2 Snakes and a Leopard Gecko.
