Hi Henry, I have 16 new pullets they been in thier own coop for 2 months now ad te see but no touch the big hens every day, how old are your pullets, and what did you do exactely to mix the two flocks together?

I was very scared that the big hens would hurt the little girls and silkie because they are pretty crazy and the little pullets are quite a bit smaller. Although they are not completly integrated yet. I asked a bunch of old time chicken people who I trust allot and they said to just let them free range together. It worked great they did not have much conflict. The real problem may start when I try and get the smaller girls to live in the coop with the big girls as right now they have their own tractor. I think the way to go would be free range them together and then I will put them in one coop and run when they are used to each other.
