Introducing 2 female pigs

What's the best way to introduce 2 female pigs about 25lb each. I have been letting them meet through the fence for a week, so today I let them meet face to face and they got into a lovely fight. I broke it up and my pig that is slightly bigger and maybe a little older was shaking her eye was blood shot and now she wont come out of her house. She looks so sad. Is that normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How much space do they have? With almost all animals, the more space available, the better.
