Introducing 7 week chicks to 11 week chicks

I currently have three 11-week chicks outside in the coop. I also have eight 7 week old chicks in a brooder inside. Do you think this would be a difficult transition? I'm hoping it may go fairly smooth since they are all young and I don't have any adult hens yet

The fact that the younger ones outnumber the older ones may help a little. The 11 week olds should already have something of a pecking order though so it'd be best if you still did a 1-2 week see but don't touch period before letting them actually interact.

If you mix in a few, like 4 or more it will probably be ok. If you flood them with the same distraction they seem to lose interest.

I plan to use the dog kennel inside the run for day time field trips and see how that goes
