So I recently had a hen hatch a chick it’s about 3 days old now. She was laying on eggs when I moved her, however to raise her chick she stopped sitting on her eggs as I expected. However 1 was 2 days away from hatching and hatched last night in the incubator.

How do I introduce this little guy to the hen without her killing it so she can raise it?

Here's an excellent article on this topic with some tips and tricks: https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2017/08/using-broody-hen-as-surrogate-mother.html

I had luck putting chicks under a broody hen at night, but there are multiple ways to do it. There's always a risk that she rejects the chick, but if she's already raising one, the chances seem good she will accept another, especially if she's raised chicks before.

Best of luck!

This is her 3rd successful hatch, only the first time the flock killed her chick. So I separate them now. Anyways, she’s experienced I am just worried about her not having bonded with this chick because she got up from it.
