introducing a new duckling to an already 4 month old duck

I already have a 4 month old mallard drake, but I would like to get him a companion. I was wondering if it would be better to get a duckling and have it raised with my drake, or get another duck around his age. Because he is already imprinted on me (and a bit little spoiled

), would he possibly attack the new duck or duckling, and never be "friends" or "companions"?
