I already had a dwarf rabbit. Gender is unknown. I am getting it examined tommorrow. I placed the new rabbit, which I am told is Male, on my computer desk beside my bed, because whent he toher rabbit first saw him, it ran and hid. I thought if Desi was up higher, she/he could see him better. After a few minutes, Desi took courage and crawled off onto Lucy's bed. They sniffed each other for a few mintues with no signs of aggression. Then, out of the blue, Lucy climbed on top of Desi and sniffed his neck. She/he looked like she was trying to mate with him. My question is, does the female rabbit usually chose to mate with the male and get on him, or do I have a male and a male? Is it possible Desie is somehow a girl, and the store was wrong? Was this an aggressibe sign? I'm confuzzled. I'm only used to owning one rabbit.
