Introducing a new rooster

Hi everyone!!! I need a bit of advice. I have 19 hens, and a rooster. My friend is looking for a home for a silkie rooster, around the same age as my chickens. I have the room, but wondering if my rooster might not like it?? Has anyone had any experience with this?? Thanks for your help!!!!

Mostly Americana’s and rhode Island reds.

He won't, so I wouldn't add the silkie.
If you want silkies, wait until spring and set up a new coop/run and get a few.

I agree with art. Additionally Silkies probably aren't the best candidate for mixing into a flock with Rhode Island Reds...
