Hi there! I'm starting a small flock of waterfowl (1 magpie duck, 1 buff duck, and 2 cayuga ducks) My buff and my magpie are 1 week old and they are so sweet I absolutely love them. They love to snuggle and are so kind and gentle. Today I tried to introduce my 2 day old cayuga's to my magpie and buff, and it did not go well to say the least. My magpie and buff kept pecking at them, and shoving them out of the way when they would go to drink or eat. My poor cayuga's dont know any better and they're too young to defend themselves. Any tips or tricks to get them all to get along and be best friends (lol) would be great! I've never had ducks before only chickens, so I'm not too sure as to which direction I should go. Thank you so much!!!(:(:

What I do with chickens is to put a see through divider in my brooder for a few days.
I make a hardware cloth fence basically and put my heat lamp so it heats both sides of the divider.
Food and water on both sides of course.

Pics of your brooder can help here.
