My Old english game bantamss are 7 weeks old, even though they are a 1/4 the size of my Rhode islands I think it's time they joined the main flock. In the past I've snuck the birds out at night and set them on the perch with the other girls and it seemed to work. I'm nervous due to the huge size difference. Is the process the same thing for introducing bantams to big hens? Any advice for me?

When I introduce new kids to the group I put them in at night and I also give them safe spots so they can avoid the big kids when needed. As an example we prop a piece of plywood against the wall for them to get behind. Good luck.
