My daughter works at a barn and something happened to the hen. We were lucky that we had the incubator out and running so we wrapped the eggs in a towel, left the barn in my car (which we raised the heat to 80 degrees) and drove home as fast as we could. In the incubator they went with the humidity already high because duck eggs require a higher humidity, which was right where the chicken eggs needed to be for hatching. The only problem we had was when the chicks hatched they raised the humidity even higher than we would have liked for the duck eggs. Tonight we go into lockdown with our call duck eggs. Please keep your fingers crossed that we have another good hatch!
