Chirping
I have five two year olds and 6 one week olds. Is it not a good idea to introduce a couple of them for a short amount of time?

Ok thanks, they will actually have a different coop next to them that will have a breezeway closed off till their biggerI would not mix the two together right now. One week old chicks are not fully feathered yet and might have trouble getting away if they need to. Also depending on your location and temperatures, they still need a heat source.
I would set up there brooder situation up in the coop with the older chickens so they can see each other. When the day comes you think they are ready to join, make sure you observe closely for the first couple days. Make sure there are areas that little chicks can escape the larger chickens if needed. Two feeding and water stations will help ensure your chickens dont prevent the chicks from eating and drinking.
