Introducing Crested Chickens

I have a flock of 6 month old pullets and 1 cockerel. I want to introduce 2-3 1 year old Polish or Houdans, but I don't know if they will get bullied. When the flock were day old chicks they had a polish chick friend, but it died about 1 week after we got them.

Have a 'Plan B' in mind. Even when raised in mixed flocks, crested birds tend to have their crests plucked out. It will probably be worse on introduction into an established flock.

Yes so, the person I am looking to buy chickens from, is selling Houdans, Golden Laced Polish, and some Hamburgs. But I would like to have the crested chickens. All of the chickens he is selling are 1 year old.

And like I said before the flock grew up with a polish for a week, but they also grew up with bantams, so I feel like they are used to misfits.
