Introducing day old ducklings to seven week old ducklings

@Miss Lydia This is also somewhat off topic but any ideas about bonding with my ducklings? I want them to be close to me and the other ducks.

Well go out and sit with them. Bonding may not happen but they will eventually feel secure with you around. They actually bond more with each other and we're allowed to be part of that. I like to offer Meal worms as incentive I can get very timid ducklings and ducks to eventually eat out of my hand if I am patient. Some use peas but mine go crazy for meal worms.

I agree with the peas ( I thaw frozen peas) and dried or fresh meal worms. Even my nervous ducks will eat from my hand. Oh and I dice up tomatoes and they love those too.

Tomatoes are good too especially if you don't mind messy hands. lol

Oh boy wait till they become addicted to them put them into a container with a lid and shake when you whistle or call them you’ll be able to get them to do just about anything.

I believe mine would do a song an dance for mealworms
