In the Brooder
I have a pair of 7 week old RiRs who I'm beginning to phase out of their brooder into the coop full-time.
As long as the weather isn't too wet they go out in the morning and spend much of the day in the coop and run, before coming back in at night.
I also have 2 x 2-week old Cream Legbars - they're currently in a separate brooder as they're still under the heat lamp, albeit next door to the other one.
How and when would you go about introducing the two different age groups? Want to make sure I do it right and over a good amount of time, I don't want any disasters! Particularly as my RiR's are a pretty rowdy pair (I call them the Kray Twins!) and the Legbars seem very timid
Any advice and pointers would be much appreciated!
PS - also maybe worth noting these are my only chickens - there's no others which are already in the coop
