Introducing Fertile Eggs?

My 2 year old Buff Orpington becomes very broody in the Spring and I thought about introducing a few fertile eggs for her to hatch. Are there serious dangers to hatching chicks with 7 other adult hens around?

Should I keep mamma and chicks separated from the other hens? The idea randomly popped into my head and I thought you guys would know best! Thanks!
