I am thoroughly enjoying this thread and think I should definitely have a couple of polish......they are fabulous and I am loving the pictures.

More on the name. You called her "Belle French Fry".....and so I emailed a friend who teaches High School French and asked her the translation for french fry. Here is her response:

To say 'french fry' in French you say "une pomme frite" (pronounced ewn pum freet) or most French people just say "une frite".

So, I am thinking your little girl is "une Belle frite". Oui? Which of course translates to Beautiful French Fry or French Fry Beauty.

I LOVE her name with the French twist on it!!

Maybe next year, I can find someone locally with some Laced Polish in varying colors ...and would have plenty of time to work on my DH ..or figure out how I can sneak them into my little coop
