Introducing geese

Hi, I'm getting my goose Dandelion a friend this Wednesday. Do you have any tips on introducing the 2 of them to each other...

I'd start with a fence between them and see how it goes. If they seem excited I would let them together. Aggressive, and it may take some time for them to get to know each other.

For a gosling, I’d probably do supervised visits every day until the gosling is a few weeks old.

For an adult, I’d do see-no-touch (have a fence between the two) for a day / a few days and then try putting them together supervised. Separate if there’s any bad biting or if you can’t be there to watch.

Meet Flo. She is a bit dirty, but hopefully, she'll wash it off. When do u think she will moult as lots of her feathers are a bit broken. When Dandelion saw her, she was very unfased Flo follows her everywhere and Dandelion feels she's being chased. For the most part they get along well with only a small bit of feather pulling from Dandelion. I'm pretty sure she's a girl but I'm a tiny bit worried as her honk is very high pitched and her neck is so long, what do you think, is it just that shesa curious?

Beautiful! I'm no help with sexing. Anytime I think, "Okay, I've sexed lots of geese by sight now, I'm ready to help questioners on BYC," I start looking at pictures and realize there's lots of little things I'm looking for in geese that pictures cannot convey. I feel like Flo might be a gander, but I will not say that with any degree of confidence. I love ganders; they've got such sweet personalities if you socialize them properly and know to respect their boundaries.

My geese have only molted in the fall no matter how much feather breakage they undergo from mating, fighting, etc.
