Goslings or geese

I have one goose called Dandelion, I'm getting her a friend soon, would she bond better with goslings or an adult goose. Dandelion is nearly 5 years old.

That’s exciting you’re getting Dandelion a friend! Geese usually bond better with others of their own age, but both goslings and adult geese can work well. Since Dandelion is 5, she might get along better with another adult goose, especially if they’re around the same age and temperament. But goslings can also be a good choice since they’d grow up with her and form a strong bond. If you choose a gosling, just be ready for some time to get them used to each other.

When I moved into my home many years ago, it came with a pair of older ganders. I hatched them goslings. They adopted them instantly and remained bonded for life.
