Introducing Gunner

Meet Gunner! He is our latest addition to a very busy household.
He is an 11 week old bloodhound. He has been home for 3 weeks now and we are working through his sharp puppy teeth stage.

Gunner already looks like a good old boy!! What an adorable pup! Is there a job in his future?

He's a beauty.

He is a totally spoiled tiny toothy terrorist right now lol.

His long term job will be as a spoiled fishing companion for hubs to take with him on the boat.

I know, I know.....to cushy of a life.

The breeder has sold many from this and previous litters to search and rescue, police, and tracking hunters. They definitely have the noses for it.

Hubs will be retired in less than 2 years and really enjoys fishing so the decision was made to add now and train young to behave on the boat.

If that doesn't work for Gunner he will be a spoiled lap dog that gets to laze around at home.

Did you know hubs can teach him to find fish? Bloodhounds can scent through 12 feet of water.

You can teach him to find things! if he learns the word for find, then for objects like keys, remote, etc. That would be fun....

Aww yes very wrinkly.
We have a coon hound/airedale mix, a pitsky, 2 malamutes and another beautiful bloodhound. Yup I may be nutty.

That will definitely be handy! I hide things for the other bloodhound to "seek". It's a great game and works their minds. Now just for it to not be the toys but what I usually misplace lol.

We have 6 wonderful big dogs now. Each one is unique and amazing. Love them all.
