Hi I purchased two Easter Eggers pullets to add to my small flock of a Barred Rock and a Buff Orphington. Unfortunately one of the pullets died. The other is doing well and is about 9 weeks old. We've done weeks off putting her in a coop side by side with my other hens. They can look at each other. I think she's still too small to introduce fully. I want to wait a few more weeks. But I'm nervous about it just being the one pullet. The barred rock is curious but seems ok. The buff is afraid of her own shadow. What do you think?

I would suggest letting her get bigger. Do you free range your birds ? If so allow her monitored free range with them before introducing them full time.

I actually don't free range unless they are being watched. I have a separate pen for them with grass they can go in.
