Emma kidded at 10:30 this morning with a gorgeous buckling.
She went into labor, and as soon as her water broke I knew we were in trouble. This kid is HUGE. She couldn't even present his feet, altho he was presented correctly. I had to go in, pull out his legs, then use a pulling cord to catch his head. It took two of us to get him out. Two stuck kids in a row. Singletons...argh! We got him out, he was somewhat stressed for the first 10 minutes but pulled around. She is really tired, but has fully recovered already.
Anyway, this little (big) guy is already bouncing all over the barn and is SO friendly! He's a roan buckskin, just like mom YAY with brown eyes and some white.
He will be retained. Ben couldn't be happier...
