Introducing my Grandchicks

Hello, I'm just a grandmother who doesn't get to see my grands very often due to them living so far away. So what did I do?? Start raising chickens, peacocks, and turkeys! This has kept me pretty busy besides working as a teacher librarian.

I've had chickens about 7 years now. I NEVER sell an egg! I provide my whole family with free eggs! These days with egg prices going up tremendously this is very much appreciated throughout the family! I love to spend time with my ladies and Johnny my Extra large turkey.
These are good days!

The price of feed has gone up 39% in the 4 years I've been keeping chickens.
