Hello!
To members: I appreciate your contributions to the various threads. Thanks!
Well, I’ve had chickens for less than two years. Bracing for our second Winter in rural Missouri.
I have 18 birds:
10 Egyptian Fayoumis: 9 layers, 1 rooster
3 Andalusians: 1 layer (blue), 1 pullet who should begin laying any day now (splash), 1 gorgeous rooster (black)
1 Sicilian Buttercup pullet (attached file)
1 RIR layer sole survivor of a string of attacks. Given to me by a neighbor
2 Speckled Sussex hens who are in love with Jonathan, their
Golden-laced Polish rooster. They have been his “seeing eye dogs” until I recently gave him a cursory haircut, which I have yet to finish for style!
