Please be careful with the scalloped top concrete edgers, they easily fall over and are quite heavy. Chicks wouldn't stand a chance.

Of the three eggs i had put in the incubator I unknowinly had them upside down for the first 18 days so late last night one hatched perfectly was pretty surprised to find her this morning but sadly the other to had piped the wrong end not the air cell end and didn't make it.. I feel terrible for the lonely one who did... I have a second set that I placed correctly to hatch in 10 days or so as well as a clutch a Broody is sitting on due to hatch also in 10 days or so.. Is that to long for a companion.. Contemplating have my husband pick a couple babies up after he gets off work???
