Hello. My name is Wanda, but I chose "Priscilla's mom" as a name here because she is a silver-laced wyandotte that I got last year and my very special girl. It was an impulsive decision to get 5 babies last year when we heard the adorable little peeping in the L&M store. I knew I had much preparing to do, both in creating a safe space for them , but also gathering knowledge. It was the best impulse I have ever had. I LOVE my chickens. And look forward to meeting other chicken people, because the first thing I learned was that chicken people are super friendly and do tend to love all things chicken related enthusiastically together.

I have seen that phrase already. Does it mean that your flock grows exponentially because you spend so much time thinking "i have to have this breed, and green eggs, and a blue chicken, and a lavender orpingtin" and pretty soon you have 13 instead of 5??? Because, yes. That's me :)
