Totally new chicken mama. I have 32 total. 4 chickens are 2 years old (from my daughter that I have been homing in my coop ) and then she and I have 28 that we bought as babies and will be splitting up as they mature. She currently has them at her home in a coop. We moved to a rural area 6 months ago and got interested in chickens. Right now the young chickens are a mix of EE's, Silkies, Polish, Silver Laced Wyandottes, and one Sultan. The Sultan is a Roo and one of the EE's is a Roo as they are now crowing. I am looking for any advice and reading lots to learn all about younger chickens and having a Rooster in the mix. We live in the DFW area in Texas.
