My name is Joyce. I've had chickens off & on for 10 years. Right now I have 5 chickens. Would have more but dogs get them. I don't know what breed I have. I will be buying some chicks in the next 2 months from tsc. I love to watch them and they know me very well. They seem to know when i'm outside and come running. I spoil them. They do keep the ticks down as well as other bugs. I live on 10 acreas so it keeps me busy. I like to sew, embroidery, and crochet. I have 3 cats and a few who drop in occasionally. I run the food pantry at my church which I enjoy. Since I lost my husband of 43 years, 2 years ago my animals and place help me keep busy.
