(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am very new to chickens. I don't currently have any as the ordinance code for my city doesn't allow any but I'm hoping I can maybe change that.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Currently none.

(3) What breeds do you have?

Currently none.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Currently none.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I'm learning to knit, sew and cross stitch. I also like listening to music, reading and playing video games.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I live with my parents, 2 elderly cats, some fish and a baby corn snake. I work in a grocery store.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I found BYC while doing a google search for how to change my cities ordinance regarding chickens. Seeing the thread about how to change the ordinance in your city is what made me join.

I sure hope you can get those laws changed and get some chickens soon! They are such a joy to keep, I can't imagine life without them anymore.
