Welcome to BYC.... You are going to love it here. Those fuzzy butts are so darn addicting..... You will find yourself wanting more in no time. Get a cup of coffee and pull up a chair , there is lots to see and do here. WelcomeHi, I'm brand new to chickens and we just recently got our first chicks ever. We asked for 8 but were gifted a few extra and have 11. We have 4 columbian wyandotte chicks, 5 cochin chicks, a Silkie and a bantam. We are enjoying watching them, seeing how the grow and looking forward to some eggs eventually. We are in located in southwest MO. My husband and I both teach(he's high school, I'm preschool) we have 3 daughters from a freshman in hs to a second grader. We enjoy reading, girls are active in few sports and camping is another hobby we enjoy. Looking forward to learning from you all!
