My husband just retired and we moved to a house on two acres. The property came with a barn and two mini horses and we already had 3 dogs.

We decided to add chickens to our mini-farm and just purchased 10 chicks the day before Easter. Our chicken coop has turned into more of a chicken palace and will hopefully be done in the next week or two. The chicks have already worn out their welcome in our laundry room.

Throughout the process of designing and building the coop, Pinterest posts kept referring us to this site. That is how we ended up here!
