The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Thank you Barry! Working on the bathroom. We're finally putting up the GoBoard. Getting closer to tile. It will be a good day as long as we both don't get too tired and crabby...lol

First piece. My husband spent a lot of time on making that pony wall sturdy. There's no movement to it at all. The metal pipe is secured to the floor joists down below. One nice thing about having an unfinished section in our basement, is easy access to do that and the plumbing.

Lots of progress Rene! Do you have the tile picked out yet? I think that part is the most fun, there are so many pretty ones out there :)

Hi Rene, it's better to work at home than outside of it!

It's a pretty day here so I got outside to prune a couple of bushes and cleared the last of the garden from last year. Also, saw that my azalea bushes have buds on them, excited to see that! This was their first time wintering over and it looks like they are all doing well.
It's so much better.

It's always so exciting to see what made it through winter. I love azaleas. Glad yours are doing well. 💗

I have everything pulled up in my vegetable garden, but that's as far as I've gotten. Hopefully I can get it done before we go to Oklahoma.

Yes, it's sitting in my living room. It's behind the heated floor mat and the mirror, or I'd snap a picture. There are so many choices. Hubs picked it out. We were looking at two different tiles that he'd picked, I told him to pick the one he really wanted. I picked the tile for the guest bath. What he chose honestly made it a little harder. My part of picking the flooring for his original choice was easy and I loved it. We were getting ready to pay for it and he kept going back to the one we wound up with. I love it, but I'm not as happy with the floor tile. I should have looked somewhere else and picked something else out, but it will work. It's anti-slip, so that's a good thing and it won't detract from the wall tile. I think it will be pretty when it's all finished. I have no idea about the vanity top yet, it's going to be harder to pick than the floor. I'm honestly trying not to think about it too much yet...lol
