hi my name is faith,
I look after my chickens (and ducks!)
I live in the daintree rainforest (QLD Australia)
I also have 2 dogs Sunshine and jackson ( red cattle x bull terrier x bull arab) 2 yrs old
i have a older brother and sister (but they dont live with me anymore bc they are 18 & 21)
and 3 younger sisters (9,5,4) and a brother or sister on the way!
I got my chickens (our first ever flock) exactly a year ago i got 40, some died.... and then we had 17 hens and 15 roosters! we ended up getting rid of 7 roosters to our friends ( that left us with 8) then we got given 3 hens (the last 3 listed down below) and they carried a disease (coryza) and that wiped out 4 roosters and 5 hens ( ducks cant catch it)
it is a disease that the first time they get it its the worst and will probably never show symptoms again BUT they still carry the disease and can pass it on so we do not touch a other peoples chickens without washing our hands really well beforehand ( vise versa) here is what we have left ..........

> 3 lavender sussex ( 1 hen, 2 roosters ) hens: CUPCAKES rooster: STAR, MR FLUFFIKENS
> 2 silver sussex ( 2 hens ) hens: SILVER,ELMO
> 2 plymouth rock ( 1 hen, 1 rooster ) hens: DOT rooster: KENITH
> 1 yellow brahma ( hen) hens: CARAMEL
> 1 golden laced wyandette ( hen ) hens: GOLDIE
> 1 sussex? (hen) ( it looks like a sussex but it has a rose comb) hens: JEMIMA
DUCKS
the breed is muscovey 5 female 3 male
Girls: BUBBLES<SNUGGLES,CUDDLES,ROSIE,DAISIE
Boys: NIBBLES, BILLY, BANANA'S
