Introducing new birds to the flock?

I have 7 chickens that are 6 weeks old. I am getting 3-4 more pullets that are already about 5 months old and laying. Does anyone have any tips about how to introduce the older ones to the newer ones?

You should introduce them by putting up something that will block them from getting at each other, but they can see one another
