Introducing new chickens

We were left with one lonely hen (Squeeker) after a series of incidents.
We got two new ones (a rooster and a hen) of the same age. How long will the new, larger hen pick on poor little Squeeker? How can I make the transition easier for all of them? Should I keep them all penned up for a few days together or should I just let them go out free-range right away?

Can you pen them up for a few days "together" but separated? So they can't hurt each other, but they can SEE each other and get used to being around each other? That can help.

Regardless, there will be the establishment of pecking order once you mix them. But it will probably go smoother/less violent if they get used to each other first.
