I currently own two older hens that are no longer laying. Yesterday I introduced two new younger chickens that should lay eggs, But the older ones keep chasing them and pecking at them. Should I be worried or is this normal?

That is norml. Unless the pecking is to the point of blood, leave them alone. Make sure you have a couple of extra feed and water areas. Add a couple of hideouts, and different levels so that they can get away from each other, and they should calm down eventurally. They may act like two flocks until winter. Cold weather makes for friends.

Ok, i did make sure I have two of everything and we also added a platform in their run with nesting boxes and a roost so that they'd have somewhere else to go. I'm Not sure if the pecking got to the point of blood because one of our younger chickens has blood on her foot and head but we think she got caught on the fence.
