Introducing new ducks

So, when we do the big switch and bring home the new Muscovy females, is there any procedure to introducing new ducks to a group?

I have no idea how old they will be, but probably around 16-20 weeks.

Is there difference between introducing young versus older ducks?

I first let them look at each other through a fence and then after about twenty minutes I know if I can release them to actually meet. A few chest bumps and neck ties and everyone is okay...

Good to know. We still have their pen set up in the back from before they had complete run of the backyard. That will come in handy then. Thanks!
